Georgetown G-Men Gobbler Gallop
The Georgetown G-Men Gobbler Gallop takes place at Georgetown Elementary School, 935 Mt Orab Pike, Georgetown, Ohio. Net proceeds benefit the Georgetown Schools Student Wellness Fund, which supports equipment, student participation fees, and improvements to the Wellness Center. The event date is November 21, 2026.
Distances
- Gobbler Gallop 5K: 5K road course starting in front of Georgetown Elementary School.
- 1-Mile Turkey Waddle: one mile route held entirely on the school campus.
The 5K allows participants to walk or run and carries a one-hour course time limit. The 5K course begins in front of the elementary school, follows Mt. Orab Pike, Iowa St., N. Main St., Plum St., Grandin Dr., W. Grant Ave., W. Cherry St., returns to N. Main St., and reenters the school grounds for a final loop to the finish (3.1 miles).
Awards and extras include plaques for the top three overall male and female finishers, medals for the top three male and female finishers in each age group, and a raffle for gift certificates, merchandise, and services from local businesses. Age groups are: 12 & under; 13-15; 16-18; 19-24; 25-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-64; 65 & over.
Shirts are available with hooded sweatshirts in youth sizes and crewneck sweatshirts in adult sizes. The last day to register with a guaranteed shirt is Friday, October 30. Registration fees listed are $28.45 ($25 + processing) for each event, with registration shown for the period October 14 through November 19.
