Event Overview
The George B. Wallace Memorial Mountain Man Run takes place on Labor Day in Williams, Arizona. Course Details
The 10K route transitions between natural and urban environments. Runners follow a path through a pine forest and pass by Cataract Lake before moving through the downtown area of Williams. The 5K and the 1 Mile Fun Run courses focus on the downtown area, taking participants through sights in the local district.
Awards and Recognition
The event features a unique tradition involving the Williams Mountain Men. The first three male and female finishers in both the 10K and 5K categories receive coonskin hats as awards.
