Geoff Day Memorial 5k - 8 July 2026
The Geoff Day Memorial 5k is an annual club road race organised by Great Bentley Running Club and scheduled for Wednesday 8 July 2026. The event commemorates a former club member noted for strong performances in the club's men's Top Ten lists and for frequent top finishes in local races.
A trophy has been donated in his memory and will be awarded to the fastest first-claim Great Bentley runner in the Geoff Day Memorial 5k. As per club rules, only first-claim members are eligible for awards and trophies.
Registration takes place at Great Bentley Village Hall, CO7 8LW. The club will make the main hall available to participants and will provide tea and coffee. Results from the 2025 running of this event are recorded by the club.
