Gene's Run - Morgantown, WV
Gene's Run is a two-day running program held June 26-27, 2026 at Gene's Beer Garden in the Greenmont neighborhood of Morgantown. Events take place across Friday evening and Saturday and include a mix of short and mid-distance races that run through Greenmont and South Park. The Saturday 5K follows residential streets in the Greenmont and South Park areas.
Friday's schedule centers on the beer mile, offered for individual competitors and relay teams of two or four. A family-oriented kids run is scheduled on Saturday morning. After several events, organizers stage post-race celebrations at Gene's Beer Garden and the weekend continues with the Greenmont Neighborhood Block Party on Saturday evening.
