Geisinger Marworth Recovery Fun Run 5K
The event takes place on September 27, 2026, at the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail, Olive Street trailhead in Scranton, Pennsylvania. It is organized as an in-person and virtual activity that includes both running and walking options.

Registration information notes a pre-registration fee of $25 if completed by September 6, and a day-of registration fee of $30. Pre-registration opens on May 1 and closes on September 24. Day-of registration and t-shirt availability are subject to on-site conditions and supply.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Geisinger Marworth Therapeutic Activities Fund. That fund supports therapeutic recreation programs and facilities intended to help patients experience healthy leisure and gain sober social skills to support recovery after discharge from treatment.
Medals will be awarded to the top male and female overall finishers and to male and female competitors in the following age groups: 10 and under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and over.
