Gate Gallop

Gate Gallop is a community running event that raises money for St Giles Hospice. The event has been held for over 25 years and has raised £100,000.

There are two trail races on the day. Distances offered include:

10 km trail race, part of the Burton & District Summer League
5 km trail race

The race headquarters is at Anker Valley Sports Complex in Tamworth. Music and community stalls are present at the HQ.

All 10 km finishers receive a plantable "seeded" medal and there are prizes for the winners. The event date is 21st June 2026.

10 km entry £18 plus a £1.30 administration fee
5 km entry £9 plus a £0.99 administration fee
