The Gate Gallop is a community trail running event in Tamworth that raises money for St Giles Hospice. It has been held for over 25 years and has raised £100,000 in that time.
The event offers two trail race distances and lists Anker Valley Sports Complex as the race headquarters. The HQ area includes music and community stalls. The 10 km race is part of the Burton & District Summer League.
All finishers in the 10 km race receive a plantable seeded medal. There are prizes for race winners.
