Gaspee Days 5k Road Race
The Gaspee Days 5k Road Race is a timed 5K (3.1 miles) held on June 13, 2026, in Cranston, Rhode Island, at 2052 Broad Street. The course follows the Gaspee Parade route along the red, white and blue Narragansett Parkway, running south on Broad Street into Warwick, turning at General Hawkins Drive and returning north to a finish just past the parade reviewing stand at Rhodes Place.
The event is limited to 2,000 runners and enforces a strict cut-off time of one hour for completion of the 5K. Registration opens December 1, 2025 and closes March 31, 2026; the listed registration fee for the 5K is $30.00. There are no race day entries; all participants must be registered in advance.
Pre-race bib pick-up is scheduled for June 11 at the Aspray Boat House. Morning check-in and bib pick-up are available at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center; pick-up closes before the race. Photo ID is required to collect a bib. Timing and results are provided by Spitler Race Systems.
After the race, complimentary refreshments are available for runners. Runners 21 and older receive one complimentary beer in a fenced refreshments area with ID verification; beer service ends at 11:00 AM. Portable restrooms are provided for participants only.
