Garden of Reflection 5K (9/11 Memorial Race)
The Garden of Reflection 5K is the 25th Remembrance event held at the Garden of Reflection Memorial in Lower Makefield, Pennsylvania. The event commemorates lives lost on 9/11 and honors the actions of first responders while raising funds for an endowment to preserve the memorial.
All courses start and end on the Garden of Reflection property and use local neighborhood streets. The event includes relatively flat and fast sections with some rolling hills on the 5K and 10K courses. The 1 mile course remains entirely on memorial park property. Due to course regulations, 10K participants are asked to finish within 90 minutes.

Registration uses early, pre-registration, and day-of pricing. Early registration fees for the 1 Mile and 5K are listed at $35, with higher fees at later registration stages; early registration for the 10K is listed at $40. The virtual option has its own fee structure and allows participants to run or walk from any location during the virtual challenge window.
All participants registered by September 11 will receive the 2026 race shirt if available. New for 2026, all participants will receive a custom designed race medal and ribbon.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to top male and female finishers in standard age groups. Winners must be present to receive awards; awards will not be mailed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
