Garden of Reflection 5K
The Garden of Reflection event takes place on September 20, 2026 at the Garden of Reflection Memorial, 1950 Woodside Road, Lower Makefield, PA. The event marks the 25th remembrance of 9/11 and raises funds for an endowment to preserve the memorial.
Distances offered include:
- 10K run, new for 2026
- 5K run or walk
- 1 mile course on the memorial property
- Virtual option with flexible dates and distances
All courses start and end on Garden of Reflection property. The 1 mile course remains entirely on park grounds. The 5K and 10K use local neighborhood streets and include some rolling hills; course descriptions note the routes are relatively flat and fast with modest elevation changes. The 5K course has been modified for 2026 so more of the route occurs on park property.
Registration windows and fees vary by option. Participants registered by September 11 will receive the custom 2026 race shirt when available. New for 2026, all participants receive a custom race medal and ribbon. Awards are given to top overall finishers and to winners in specified age groups; awards are presented after the race and are not mailed.
