The Gambade Escalaise is a 100% nature trail running event that takes place around the lake, connecting the communes of L’Escale, Château-Arnoux, and Volonne. Celebrating its 27th anniversary, this event has become a staple in the department, promoting sharing, friendship, and solidarity. Organized by the association Déclic 04, the race is distinguished by its marked and secure paths, offering a preserved setting for participants.
In 2024, the Gambade Escalaise will also host the finals of the FSGT French Championships for the 10 km and 20 km races, further cementing its status as a major sporting event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
