Galashiels Come+Tri
The event is part of the Live Borders Triathlon Series 2026 and takes place at Galashiels Swimming Pool on 9 May 2026. It is listed as a "Come and Tri" event with separate swim, bike and run legs.

Course and logistics
The swim will be in the new 25 m, 6-lane pool at the Galashiels Community Campus. Swim waves will be organised by competitors' submitted estimated swim times. Transition is in an adjacent area that will be sealed off for event use.
There is no dedicated parking at the new pool. Event-day parking will be on-street in the surrounding area and access to Livingstone Place will be restricted. The cycle route includes a climb over Windyknowe onto the A72, passes the Torwoodlee area en route to Clovenfords village, with a turnaround in Clovenfords and a return along the same route. The run uses a woodland trail through Gala Policies and passes the ruins of the original New Gala House.
Entry and fees
Status is Open. Closing date for entries is 26 Apr 2026 23:59. Standard entry fee is £30. A service fee of 4% (minimum 50p) applies to each sign-up. Non-British Triathlon Home Nation members must purchase a British Triathlon Race Pass: £2.00 (plus £0.08 service charge) for participants aged 24 and under, and £8.00 (plus £0.32 service charge) otherwise.
