Gaelforce West 2026 and Gaelforce Westport 34KM
Gaelforce West marks its 20th edition on 13 June 2026. The event includes the original Gaelforce West format, a 68 km triple discipline race through Connemara that combines running, cycling and kayaking and finishes in Westport.
For 2026 there is a new one-off Gaelforce Westport event. This is a 34 km run and cycle challenge starting from Westport, created to welcome more people into the Gaelforce community and to provide a finish line experience on the event day.

Participants must be 18 years or older. Entry fees listed for 2026 are €142.00 plus €6.00 fee for the 68 km event (total €148.00) and €122.00 plus €6.00 fee for the 34 km event (total €128.00). These prices are noted as valid until 11 June 2026 at 14:00.
