Gaddesden Gallop
The Gaddesden Gallop is a cross-country running event held in the Hertfordshire countryside. The event takes place at The Village Sports Ground in Little Gaddesden, with the course starting and finishing near the Little Gaddesden Sports Pavilion. This event features multiple distances suitable for different age groups:
- 10 km Adult and Under 18 Entry
- 5 km Adult and Under 18 Entry
- Mini Races for children under 7 and under 12
The routes consist of cross-country terrain through local rural areas. Participation is open to both adults and runners under the age of 18, with specific entry categories for each. In addition to the main distances, the event includes mini races designed for younger participants, providing unlimited entry to these shorter heats for a single fee.
All participants who complete their respective courses receive a medal. Separate prizes are awarded to the first male and first female finishers in both the 10 km and 5 km categories.
Access to the event is available through pre-registration or limited on the day registration. The sports ground is located on Church Road with the postcode HP4 1NX.
