Gaan Wild MTB & Run : Lekwena Wildlife Estate

Gaan Wild MTB & Run is a multi-discipline event held at Lekwena Wildlife Estate in Potchefstroom, North West, South Africa on 10 and 11 October 2026. The program combines mountain biking and trail running with open entry categories and championship races incorporated into the MTB schedule.

The event is sanctioned by Cycling South Africa and serves as the North West XCM Championships and part of the North West Marathon Championships for mountain biking. Open categories are available, and riders and runners will pass through bushveld terrain with wildlife present along some routes. Food stalls and entertainment are listed as available on site.

Race registration and number collection are scheduled for Friday 10 October 2026 at Lekwena Restaurant, and number collection is also available on race day for an additional R50 race day entry fee. Entries include a goodie bag. North West XCM championship distances and categories follow Cycling SA rules and are indicated during entry.
