Fyvie Castle 5k and Fun Run 2026
The event takes place at Fyvie Castle in Fyvie, Turriff, AB53 8JS, Scotland. Dates listed for the event include 13 March 2026, 18 September 2026 and 20 September 2026. The event is held in conjunction with the Fyvie Parent Council and aims to raise school funds. Registration closes 18 September 2026.
Distances offered:
- 5 km multi terrain run
- 1600 m trail run
- 800 m trail fun run
The entry fees are listed as follows: the 5 km is £11.00 plus a fee of £0.45 and 5% per participant; the 1600 m is £6.00 plus the same fee; the 800 m is £4.00 plus the same fee. The 5 km and 1600 m races are chip timed; the 800 m is a fun run. Finishers medals are provided in all races. Prizes include first boy and first girl in the 800 m and 1600 m, and first through third places for male and female in the 5 km.
Age and accompaniment notes: the 5 km is for over five years with under 11s required to be accompanied by an adult at all times; the 1600 m is for primary school age up to 14 years; the 800 m is open to younger participants with under five year olds required to be accompanied.
