About the race
Fun Run for Autism is a community walk and run taking place at Gold Bar Park in Edmonton on Sunday, September 13, 2026. The event raises funds for Centre for Autism Services Alberta (CFASA), a non-profit that provides programs and services across the lifespan for Autistic individuals.
The event is presented as family friendly and inclusive. Participants are encouraged to express individuality through costumes, capes, onesies, and bright colours. Strollers and mobility aids are welcome on the routes. After the run there will be games, activities, food, and opportunities to connect with other participants.
Distances offered:
- 2K walk/run
- 5K run
- 10K run
- 2K Kids for ages 12 and under (children 5 and under are free)
A route map and fundraising materials are available. Bib and packet pick up is scheduled for September 9, 2026 at the Running Room in Sherwood Park (205 Festival Way #520) between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. The event lists several sponsors and records fundraising totals for teams and individual participants.
