Fun in the Sun Color Run
The Fun in the Sun Color Run takes place Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Nashua North High School in Nashua, NH, with an option to participate virtually from a preferred location. The event is hosted by and benefits Lil' Iguana's Children's Safety Foundation.
The event offers two course options:
- 1 mile
- 5K
The event is open to children, adults, families, and teams. It is a non timed color run and walk. Registration includes a race bib and all children ages 2 and up must be registered and clearly display a valid race bib while on the course.
After the run there is a Finish Line Luau with music, entertainment, food and beverage samples, and activities provided by area businesses and vendors. The color powder is certified non toxic and free of heavy metals and is made from cornstarch, baking soda, and food safe dyes. Participants may choose to wear sunglasses or goggles and a bandana or mask to reduce inhaled or eye exposure.
Strollers are allowed on both courses and should start toward the back of the pack for safety. Participants with pets will start in a separate heat and run a course that avoids areas where animals are not permitted. There is no on site bag storage. The event takes place rain or shine.
Discounted online pre registration pricing is available through June 5th at 5pm ET; standard day of event pricing applies to later registrations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
