The Crescent Moon Chase is scheduled for February 22, 2026, at Claremont Beach, 5400 E. Ocean Blvd., Long Beach, CA 90803. The event offers multiple distances held on out-and-back courses along the beach path.

Course notes: the 5k route is used for the 5k (one lap) and the 10k (two laps). The 10 Miler uses a 5-mile route run twice. The half marathon combines the 5-mile route twice plus the 5k route once. The beach path is an open course; runners will encounter other users and are asked to remain on the right side while cyclists use the left side.
On-course support and logistics: a fully stocked water station is located on course, and the finish area includes an aid station with water, electrolytes, gels, and fruit snacks. First aid kits are available at each station and crew members have CPR training. Course turns are marked with chalk, runner turn signs, and flags.
Race operations: bibs should be worn on the front for timing and photos. A gear check is available at the registration tent; participants must provide their own bag. All finishers receive a medal and overall first place male and female are awarded 1st place medals for each distance. Results and photos are emailed the day after the event and posted earlier on Instagram. Parking in the lot is $2 per hour starting at 8am and street parking is free.
