Crescent Moon Chase Half Marathon

Event information
The Crescent Moon Chase is set for February 22, 2026, at Claremont Beach in Long Beach, California. The start location is 5400 E. Ocean Blvd., Long Beach, CA 90803. The event includes these distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- 10 Miler
- Half Marathon
Parking in the beach lot has a fee; street parking is free. Early bib pick-up is available the day before at Sports Basement Long Beach (2100 N Bellflower Blvd.). Race bibs are to be worn on the front of the shirt. A gear check area is provided at the registration tent; participants should bring their own bag.
Course and support
Courses use out-and-back loops: the 5K route is one lap for the 5K and two laps for the 10K; the 5-mile route is used for the 10 Miler and is run twice for the half combined with the 5K route. The beach path is an open course. Runners are asked to stay on the right side of the path; the left side is for cyclists.
A fully stocked water station is located at the Belmont Pier. The finish area has an aid station with water, gatorade, gels, and fruit snacks. Each station has a first aid kit and race crew have received CPR training. Turns are marked with chalk, a runner turn sign, and flags. First place medals are awarded to the overall first male and female in each distance. Results and free race photos are sent after the event.
