Frozen Hare 2

Frozen Hare 2 is a swim and multisport festival held at Lawrence Park Swim Club, 293 Langford Rd., Broomall, PA 19008. The venue is an outdoor heated 25 meter pool that is generally maintained at 81F or warmer. The event offers in-person and virtual options across swimming, running, biking, aquathlon, aquabike, duathlon, and triathlon formats.

• 3 Mile run
• 750 m swim, 11.8 mi bike, 3 Mile run
• 1500 m swim, 22.8 mi bike, 6 Mile run
• 5K swim, 22.8 mi bike, 6 Mile run
• 300 m swim, 1 Mile run
• 11.8 mi bike, 3 Mile run
• 22.8 mi bike, 6 Mile run
• Virtual versions of several race formats

For multisport events, only the time for each individual leg is recorded; transition times are not kept. Bike and run segments are self supported with no traffic control and no course markings; participants should use their own navigation or stationary trainers. Stationary cycling may be used as an alternative and will be scored separately from road rides. Swimmers may be asked to share lanes.

All racers receive a race t-shirt if entry is received by 2027-01-26. No refunds are issued and bib transfers to non-registered people are not permitted. A registered athlete may request a deferral or transfer at least 14 days before the event for a nominal fee. Parking is available on site. A limited selection of food and drinks will be on hand; participants are advised to bring any additional supplies they need.
