Event overview

The Frozen Foot Challenge Adventure Race is scheduled for March 14, 2026 at the Pocahontas State Park Aquatics Center Parking Area in Chesterfield, VA. The event offers two timed-course options: a 5 Hour race and a 10 Hour race. Entry categories include solo competitors and team divisions for two-, three- and four-person teams. The course combines mountain biking and trekking sections only, with fast single-track mountain bike segments and off-trail foot navigation through open woods and small rolling hills. The park location includes over 40 miles of IMBA Bronze mountain bike trails. Event services and features include race swag (custom racer arm sleeves, a T-shirt, and eco-friendly slate medals), course maps provided by TANZ Navigation, electronic epunching, GPS trackers, a transition area for equipment and bike staging, packet pick-up, post-race food, and a post-event social bonfire.
