Frozen Chosen - 5 km Run & Walk
The Frozen Chosen is a community 5 km run and walk held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, in Orchard Park, New York. The event takes place at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 4536 South Buffalo Street, Orchard Park, NY 14127. It is open to participants ages 1 to 98. Early packet pickup and in-person registration are scheduled for Friday, January 23. A course map is available on MapMyRun. Timing and scoring are provided by WNY Finish Line and Timing Service. Proceeds benefit Family Promise of WNY and St. John’s youth ministry.
Registration, fees, and awards
Registration fees before or on January 11 are $30 for participants 19 and older and $15 for those under 19; these registrations include a shirt. Registration after January 11 is $35 for ages 19 and older and $20 for those under 19; shirts are available only if registered by January 11. Age discounts are applied at checkout.
Awards are given to overall male and female, top male and female masters, and the top three finishers (male and female) in age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75 & over.
