Front Runners New York LGBTQ+ Pride Run 4M
The Front Runners New York LGBTQ+ Pride Run is a scored 4-mile road race in Central Park that marks a community celebration of LGBTQ+ pride and solidarity. The 2026 theme is "Hearts in Motion: United in Every Stride." The event is organized in partnership among Front Runners New York, New York Road Runners, and the City of New York, and lists Housing Works as the 2026 donation beneficiary.
The course begins on East Drive near East 69th Street, proceeds north on East Drive, turns left onto the 102nd Street Crossing, then left onto West Drive heading south, and finishes by turning left off West Drive onto the 72nd Street Transverse. Course support includes on-course water and Gatorade; post-finish refreshments include water, Gatorade, apples, pretzels, and bagels. Live unofficial results and runner tracking are available in the NYRR app and official results are posted afterward.
Race services include bag check (clear bags only; recommended maximum 17" x 20" x 7" with tag affixed) and multiple bib-pickup locations, where participants receive a New Balance singlet. The event is a 9+1 qualifier, is eligible for prize money awarded equally across men, women, and nonbinary divisions, and presents awards to the top three overall in each of those divisions. A time bonus is available for a winner who breaks the standing 4-mile event record. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
