Front Runners New York LGBTQ+ Pride Run 4M
The Front Runners New York LGBTQ+ Pride Run 4M is a four-mile community race in Central Park, held on June 27, 2026. The event uses the theme "Hearts in Motion: United in Every Stride" to emphasize unity and solidarity within the LGBTQ+ community.
The race is produced with a long-standing partnership among Front Runners New York, New York Road Runners, and the City of New York. The Pride Run began in Central Park in 1982 and in 2019 set a Guinness World Record for the largest pride charity run with more than 10,200 finishers.
The 2026 beneficiary is Housing Works. Housing Works provides primary and behavioral healthcare to more than 15,000 low-income and unhoused New Yorkers, records 140,000 plus clinical visits annually, operates six community clinics, and manages supportive housing units and temporary shelter capacity across the city.
This scored race offers prize money equal across men, women, and nonbinary categories. Prize amounts for individual finish position are: 1st $500, 2nd $400, 3rd $300, 4th $200, and 5th $100. A $100 bonus is available to winners who break the existing 4-mile event record. Race-day amenities listed include on-course water and Gatorade and post-finish refreshments such as water, Gatorade, apples, pretzels, and bagels.
