Frome Sprint Triathlon - 19 July 2026
Frome Sprint Triathlon takes place at Frome Sports and Fitness Centre. The venue provides race headquarters facilities and is suitable for spectators, with music and food at the finish area.
The event is part of the 2026 Triathlon England South West Adult Race Series and uses a fully marshalled course. Distances are:
- 400 m pool swim
- 23 km bike around Somerset and Wiltshire countryside
- 5 km run on a mixture of road and tracks
Entries are accepted as individuals or relay teams. The event is open to athletes aged over 16 at the time of the event; parents of 16 and 17 year olds must complete a parental consent form before the race. This is a British Triathlon Federation event and a BTF race pass is required to take part; existing BTF members may have the pass included in their membership and should confirm their cover in advance.
A team of volunteers supports competitors from registration through to the finish. A familiarisation session for the bike route will be held closer to the event date.
