Frightful 5K and Pumpkin 1K
The 10th annual Frightful 5K and Pumpkin 1K take place at the Troy Community Center, 3179 Livernois Rd, Troy, Michigan. The 5K course is USATF certified and uses roads around the Civic Center Campus and Big Beaver Road. Costumes that are spooky, creative, or humorous are encouraged.

- 3.1 miles Frightful 5K run/walk
- 1K Pumpkin 1K fun run/walk
The event includes age appropriate results, a t-shirt and a finishers medal; shirt sizes are not guaranteed. The Pumpkin 1K is organized in three time slots five minutes apart to reduce congestion. Each 1K time slot is limited to 50 participants; registrants select a time slot during checkout and should line up for their chosen slot.
Registration opens August 3 and follows tiered pricing. For the 5K the early pricing window runs through October 11 with a listed fee of $25, followed by a higher fee October 12 through October 24 and a race day fee. The 1K has a listed fee through October 24 and a separate race day fee.
Packet pick-up is at the Troy Community Center front desk (south main entrance) on Friday October 23 and Saturday October 24 during posted hours. Race day packet pick-up is also available at the same entrance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
