Friends Who Like to Do Things - Fun Run/Walk 2026
The Friends Who Like to Do Things is an annual community event co-hosted by Between Friends and Girls Who Like to Do Things. Located at Between Friends Camp Bonaventure in the Sandy Beach area of Calgary, this inclusive gathering welcomes individuals of all abilities and backgrounds.
Participants can choose from the following registration options:
- 5 km Fun Run
- Supporter Ticket (Access to the Race Village)
The event features a dedicated "Runner's Village" which includes free samples, snacks, and organized activities. A group warm-up session is conducted prior to the start of the run and walk. Participants are advised to bring their own drinking water, as there is no potable water source at Camp Bonaventure, though limited bottled water is provided on-site.
Proceeds from the event support Between Friends, an agency providing social and development opportunities for people with disabilities in Calgary and Red Deer.
