Friends of the Crawford Swimming Pool Spooky 5K Fun Run
This event features a community 5K run along the White River Trail between Fort Robinson State Park and Crawford City Park, weather permitting. The route begins at the Post Playhouse on the north side of Fort Robinson and finishes at Crawford City Park. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes and prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.
Two event options are listed:
- 5K along the White River Trail.
- Kids fun run much shorter distance near the finish line, ages 10 and under.
Pre-registration for the 5K is offered at $30; the price increases to $35 after October 18. To be guaranteed an event shirt for either race, participants must register by the stated deadlines. The kids fun run is free to enter; kids shirts are available for purchase under the kids registration and guaranteed if registered by October 19.
All proceeds go to Friends of the Crawford Swimming Pool and will be used toward repairs and/or operation costs. The event takes place in Crawford, Nebraska, at 3200 US-HWY 20 and involves Fort Robinson State Park and the City Park. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
