Friends for Families 5K
Friends for Families is a family-friendly 5K running event held on September 19, 2026, in Morgantown, West Virginia, at 308 Elmhurst St. The route is a rolling two-loop course through the neighborhood, with both the start and finish located near a church on Elmhurst Street. The event also recognizes participants who completed the CMA 5K training program.
All proceeds will support Chestnut Mountain Village. Registration carries a fee of $35.00; registration opens on May 7, 2026 and closes on September 19, 2026. Packet pick-up options include a free pasta dinner and packet pick-up on Friday, September 18, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., or on race day during packet pick-up and registration from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. The first 100 registrants will receive a shirt.
