Friends and Zoey's Zoo Fun Run
This is the fifth annual Friends and Zoey's Zoo Fun Run, a fundraiser for the Valley Zoo Development Society. Last year the event supported adoption of the harbour seal, golden lion tamarin and Goeldi's monkey exhibits and contributed to the zoo carnivore project. This year the event continues support for the harbour seals and works toward a larger commitment to the carnivore project.
The run starts and finishes at the Edmonton Valley Zoo amphitheater, located at 13315 Buena Vista Road Northwest, Edmonton AB. Distances offered:
- 1 km
- 2 km
- 5 km
- 10 km A virtual option is available and can be completed from August 1 to September 13. Virtual participants will receive the same custom designed finisher gift by mail.
Packet pick up:
- Saturday, September 12, 2026, 12:00 to 15:00 at South Edmonton Common Running Room.
- Sunday, September 13, 2026, 12:30 to 13:00 at Edmonton Valley Zoo.
