Friends and Zoey's Zoo Fun Run
The Friends and Zoey's Zoo Fun Run is the fifth annual fundraising run held on September 13, 2026 at the Edmonton Valley Zoo location, 13315 Buena Vista Road Northwest, Edmonton, AB, Canada. The course starts and finishes in the Edmonton Valley Zoo amphitheater and offers multiple distance options for in-person participants.

- 10 km A virtual option is offered with the same distance choices. Virtual entries can be completed within the designated event window and virtual participants receive the same custom finisher gift mailed to them.
The event raises funds for the Valley Zoo Development Society. Previous fundraising supported the adoption of the Harbour Seal, Golden Lion Tamarin and Goeldi's Monkey exhibits and contributed to the carnivore project at the Edmonton Valley Zoo. Exhibit adoptions provide funds for improved habitats and enrichment materials, and sponsoring the carnivore project supports redevelopment of carnivore alley. This year the event continues support for the Harbour Seals and works toward a larger commitment to the carnivore project. Current fundraising progress is listed as CA$1,235.16 raised toward a CA$3,000.00 goal.
