Friday The 13K - Castle Rock
Friday The 13K - Castle Rock is an evening meet up on the Plum Creek Trail that combines virtual and on-site participation. The course is described as fairly flat and takes place along the trail under evening sky conditions.
The event offers two distance options:
- 6.5K
- 13K
Participants may complete their chosen distance on their own ahead of the on-site gathering and then visit the Finish Line/Party to collect race items. Collected items include a finisher medal, race shirt, and bib. The on-site gathering will feature a photo backdrop, music, and event swag.
Age group awards are presented for the top three men and top three women in the usual five-year age groups, provided results are submitted in time for award results. Virtual entrants submit their results online; virtual results are posted the Monday after the event date. There is a registration deadline to receive a guaranteed shirt on November 3.
The format is described as part virtual and part live, with both individual and group registration options and support for teams and fundraising.
