Fresh Wave 5k 10k 15k Half Marathon - Long Beach
The event takes place on January 23, 2027, on the Long Beach Shoreline Path in Belmont Shores at 5400 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90803. It is organized by A Better World Running and uses an open beach path course shared with pedestrians, runners, and cyclists.
The course is marked and consists of out-and-back loops on the beach path:
- 5k out and back
- 10k two 5k loops
- 15k three 5k loops
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops
An aid station at the turnaround/start/finish provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. A 3:15 time limit applies for the half marathon. Parking is free in the residential area; a paid beach parking lot is available with a ticket machine or the Passport Parking app (zone 9372).
Registration and fees are handled online or on race day. A listed online price appears as USD 27.99; race day registration fees are listed as 5k $35, 10k $40, 15k $45, and half marathon $50.
