Registration closes on Friday, December 5 at 11:59 PM ET. The last day to register and be guaranteed a current shirt is November 1.
Course and logistics
The course uses a relatively flat rail trail with a slight incline leaving the start area. Total elevation gain for the 100K is less than 1500 feet. All runners pass over the High Bridge twice. The 100K has a 19 hour time limit; the 50K must finish before that cutoff. Drop bag locations are provided: for 50K at Farmville (halfway) and Tuggle; for 100K at Orchard Rd, Farmville (halfway) and Prospect. The half marathon route is an out-and-back of about 6.55 miles each way to a manned, water-only turnaround near Camp Paradise.
Crew access is allowed at specified locations. Pacers and crew must follow race rules and waivers; crew should use designated parking spaces. The race director may move the event by one weekend in the case of a large snowfall. Refunds are not offered; deferrals are at the race director’s discretion.
Awards and discounts
All finishers receive a handcrafted pottery award. Top three male and female finishers in each distance and top Grand Master (60+) are recognized. Discounts are offered for military, fire, law enforcement, EMS, teachers, nurses, first-time 100K runners, and for groups. A Quiet Start option is available to begin five minutes after the main field. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
