Freedom Springs Triathlon - Marianna, FL

The 40th annual Freedom Springs Triathlon takes place on July 4, 2026 at Blue Springs Recreation Park, 5461 Blue Springs Road, Marianna, Florida. It is organized as a sprint triathlon with swim, bike and run legs.

Swim: 400 meters (0.25 mile)
Bike: 10 miles
Run: 5K (3.1 miles)

The swim is held in spring water at about 68F; wetsuits are allowed. The bike course is an out and back route. The run starts on a road and continues onto a clay road surface.

There are three event options: Individual Triathlon, Relay Race for teams of two or three participants, and a Virtual Triathlon. The Individual event is open to ages 13 and older; the Relay is open to ages 12 and older. The race is sanctioned by USA Triathlon; nonmembers may purchase a one-day license for participation, with a stated one-day license cost of $15 per event.
