Freedom Springs Triathlon : July 4, 2026
The 40th Freedom Springs Triathlon takes place on July 4, 2026 at Blue Springs Recreation Park, 5461 Blue Springs Road, Marianna, FL 32446. The event offers three entry types: an Individual Triathlon, a Relay Race (teams of 2 or 3 participants), and a Virtual Triathlon. Entry prices listed are $59 for the Individual event and $49 for the Relay and Virtual events. The Individual event is open to ages 13 and older; the Relay is open to ages 12 and older. The race is sanctioned by USA Triathlon.
Course, equipment and licensing
This is a sprint triathlon with the following legs:
- 400 meter swim
- 10 mile bike
- 5K run
The swim occurs in spring water at about 68F; wetsuits are allowed. The bike course is a 10-mile out-and-back. The run begins on a road and continues onto a clay road. USA Triathlon sanctions the race; nonmembers may purchase a one-day USA Triathlon license for participation. The one-day license is listed at $15 per event, is race specific, transferable, non-refundable, and is not sold directly through USA Triathlon.
