Freedom Splash 5K
The Freedom Splash 5K is a Memorial Day running event on Monday, May 25, 2026, held at the Lawrence County High School track in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee (1800 Springer Road). The course includes water blasts, sprinklers, and other water features placed along the route to provide cooling and a playful atmosphere.

The 5K is professionally RFID chip timed by Race Ready Events. Awards for the 5K include overall male and female winners and age group awards for the following groups: 12U, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Finishers of the 1 Mile Fun Run receive ribbons. Pre-filled water balloons will be available for sale for spectators.
On-site options noted in event information include packet pick-up and in-person registration on race day, and race day registration is allowed. T-shirts are provided to registrants who meet the t-shirt deadline of May 10. Registration opens March 20 and closes May 11; registration fees are $30 for the 5K and $20 for the 1 Mile Fun Run.
Allowed on course are runners, joggers, walkers, baby strollers, restrained pets on leash, and wheelchairs. Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, wagons, and similar devices are not permitted on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
