Location and logistics
The in-person event is held at Glasgow Park, 2275 Pulaski Highway, Newark, DE 19702. Participants are asked to use the parking lots closest to the playground and the basketball courts. Bib pickup is provided at Glasgow Park on the day of the event. A course map is available as a PDF for directional purposes.
Competition and awards
Awards are given for overall male and female and overall masters male and female. Top three finishers are recognized in each age group for both men and women. Age groups are: 9 and under; 10-13; 14-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; and 70+. Overall and masters results are based on gun time; age group awards are based on chip time.
Fundraising and beneficiary
The event raises awareness and support for the Epilepsy Foundation of Delaware. The foundation has provided free education and support services to the Delaware epilepsy community for more than 60 years.
