Event Details
The Freedom From Seizures 5K North will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026. The event will be held at Glasgow Park in Newark, Delaware. The start location is 2275 Pulaski Highway. Participants can choose from two events: a standard 5K and a virtual 5K option.
The Course and Schedule
The course map is available for reference. Bib collection is scheduled for the morning of the event at Glasgow Park. Parking is available in lots near the playground and basketball courts.
Beneficiary
The event supports the Epilepsy Foundation of Delaware (EFDE). The organization provides free education, support services, and a transportation program to the Delaware epilepsy community. The foundation has offered these services for over 60 years. The race aims to raise awareness and funds to continue these programs.
Registration and Awards
Registration for the physical and virtual events opens on February 2, 2026. Participants who register before May 6, 2026, are guaranteed a t-shirt. Awards will be presented for overall male/female finishers, overall masters finishers, and the top three finishers in each standard age group.
