9th Annual Freedom Fighter 5K & Lil' Firecracker Kids Dash

The event takes place on July 4, 2026 at Bergfeld Park, 1510 S College Ave., Tyler, Texas 75702. It features two community races and is presented as a non-competitive, family-friendly occasion with no awards. A portion of race proceeds will be donated to Operation True North and registrants may make an additional donation during registration.

Registration for both events opens on December 9, 2025. Registration closes for the 5K on January 1, 2026 and for the Kids Dash on July 4, 2026. Entry fees listed are $30.00 for the 5K and $5.00 for the Kids Dash.

The 5K race packet includes a custom commemorative event shirt, a finisher medal, a custom race bib, chip timing for the 5K, and coupons and freebies from sponsors.
