Freedom Fest 5K Run & Walk in Mathis, TX
This event is a community 5K run and walk hosted at Mathis City Hall, located at 411 E. San Patricio Ave., Mathis, TX 78368. The event offers separate entries for a running 5K and a walking 5K, each listed with an entry fee of USD 25.
Shirts are available for registrants who register by June 14; registrants after that date are not guaranteed a shirt or a specific shirt size. A course map is provided for the 5K route. Entry categories are organized as individual age group/open.
Awards include medals for the top three finishers in each age category. Age categories for both men and women are: 14 and under; 15 to 19; 20 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 to 69; and 70 and over.
