Free Group Run - Course Preview
This is a free group run and course preview at Rancho Simi Park in Simi Valley. The meeting area is on the park side by the pickleball courts, off Erringer Road and Royal Avenue, at 1765 Royal Ave, Simi Valley, CA 93065.
Parking at Rancho Simi Park is free. The closest parking is near the pickleball courts. Additional parking is available near Rancho Simi Community Park and the community pool, and on the other side of the park near the kickball fields. Park restrooms are located behind the pickleball courts.
The course uses marked out-and-back loops on the trail or path. There is an aid station at every loop. Course maps are available on MapMyRun. The half marathon is described as three 4.37 mile loops. Participants may continue on the Arroyo Simi Greenway for longer distances if they choose. Participants of all paces and distances are welcome.
