Free Boxing Foundation 5K
The Free Boxing Foundation 5K takes place on June 20, 2026 at Live Oak Park in Port Royal, SC. The course is a USATF certified, fast scenic coastal route and the event has been approved by the Town of Port Royal. The race distance is 5K.
The event raises funds and registrations to establish no cost, structured boxing fitness programs and Olympic pathway boxing opportunities in Beaufort. Organizers describe goals that include providing open access to training, mentorship, discipline, and safe community fitness spaces.
On race day there will be high energy music and a vendor area with local vendors. A jump rope activation zone will allow participants to earn a free jump rope. A post-race awards ceremony will recognize finishers, and a Heavy Hitter Award uses a punching station where every finisher gets one punch to register punching power; after the award is announced the station opens to all participants.
Registration details include open registration from April 14, 2026 through June 10, 2026 and a registration fee of $30.00. Registration includes official race entry, the finisher experience and eligibility for awards. There is an optional event t-shirt if selected during registration.
