Frantic Finish 5K
The Frantic Finish is a running event held on May 19, 2026 at Olander Park in Sylvania, Ohio. The event uses a 5K course that is run as roughly three loops inside the park. The start and finish are located at the Nederhouser Community Hall, where a brief post race club meeting will take place. A meal and refreshments are provided after the run.
The event is run in a time graded format with a staggered start. Slower runners begin first and runners are grouped by previous race times so that participants are expected to finish at approximately the same moment. Each entrant must report their best 5K time from the preceding two years. If no recent 5K time is available, runners may use a converted time from another distance using a standard race time conversion chart.
There are no age group or sex division awards for this event. Entry and payment are handled through RunSignup. Fee levels are $12.00 for TRRC members and $18.00 for non-members. A $2.00 discount per participant applies for families of three or more and is applied during payment. Participants who need to pay by check should contact the race director at least ten days before race day. On race day all entries must be completed through RunSignup; cash or checks will not be accepted that evening. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
