Frank Duffy 10 Mile : Irish Life Dublin Race Series
The Frank Duffy 10 Mile is part of the Irish Life Dublin Race Series and takes place in Phoenix Park. The route begins from Chesterfield Avenue and the course map is provided by the organiser.
Race numbers are posted about ten days before the event; a replacement number costs €10. Each race number includes a baggage label to attach to any bag left in the baggage area, which is used entirely at the runner's own risk. Pins will be available at the start for attaching race numbers. Buggies are not permitted in the event for safety reasons.
Pacers are provided to guide runners toward target times of 1 hour 10 minutes, 1 hour 20 minutes, 1 hour 30 minutes and 1 hour 40 minutes. Toilets will be located close to the start area. Participants are asked to use the bins at water stations for bottles and gel wrappers to help protect Phoenix Park and its wildlife.
There will be no parking inside Phoenix Park on race day; a bike park will be provided close to the start. Shuttle buses will operate on race morning from Parkgate Street, with a return service from the Phoenix Monument after the race. The course cut-off time is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Runners receive a race t-shirt and a goodie bag at the finish; the t-shirt cannot be replaced. The event is held alongside other Irish Life races such as the Fingal 10K and the Dublin Half Marathon. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
