The Fox River Challenge
The Fox River Challenge takes place in Wrightstown, Wisconsin. The event has two categories: a duathlon and a standalone 5k run/walk.
The main event is a duathlon with three legs. The first leg is a 5k out-and-back run along the eastern shore of the Fox River on Highway ZZ. The second leg is a 15-mile bike ride along the western shore of the Fox River on Los Dauphin Road, going into Little Rapids and De Pere. The final leg is a 1-mile run looping around the Wrightstown neighborhood. The duathlon can be completed individually or as a two-person team. The standalone 5k event follows the same route as the first leg of the duathlon.
The start and finish area for all events is located in the Fox River District, right along the river. Packet pickup is at The River Coffee & Cream (104 High Ct., Wrightstown) on the Friday before the race from 3:30 to 6:00 PM and on race morning from 6:30 to 7:30 AM.
