The Fox River Challenge
The Fox River Challenge takes place on May 9, 2026 in Wrightstown, WI, with the start and finish in the Fox River District near the Fox River. The event offers a duathlon and a separate 5k run/walk option. Registration is open to ages 9 and older. The duathlon may be completed by an individual or by a two-person team. Listed entry fees are $60 for the duathlon event and $40 for the 5k-only option.
Course and logistics
The event uses an out-and-back 5k run along the eastern shore on Hwy ZZ. The 15-mile bike leg follows the western shore on Los Dauphin Road into Little Rapids and De Pere, including a transition through the start/stop arch and over a bridge. The final leg is a 1 mile run that loops around a Wrightstown neighborhood and returns through the start/finish arch. Mile markers and community sponsor stations are placed along the course. Timing is provided by XM TIMING.
Packet pick-up is at The River Coffee & Cream, 104 High Ct., Wrightstown, WI. Packet pick-up times are Friday 3:30-6:00 PM and Saturday 6:30-7:30 AM.
The race is being considered for future expansion to add a kayaking leg, with details to be determined.
