Four Seasons Festival Road Run
The Four Seasons Festival Road Run takes place in Polk City as part of the Polk City Four Seasons Festival on June 26–27, 2026. The event base is listed at 200 S 4th Street, Polk City, IA, with packet pickup the evening of June 26 at Polk City Town Square. The festival on the historic square includes a pancake breakfast, parade, bands, and other activities.
The event offers multiple course options:
- 8K 4.97 miles including paved trail sections and foot bridges with views of Saylorville and Big Creek Lake
- 5K 3.1 miles of rolling hills through town finishing down Broadway hill
- 2.5K 1.55 miles following the 5K route but cutting to Broadway earlier
- Toddler/Kid Trot free children’s races in the square for ages 0–10
Course characteristics noted by the organizer include rolling terrain through town, a downward finish on Broadway for the 5K and 2.5K, and approximately two miles of scenic running along a paved bike trail adjacent to Saylorville Lake for the 8K.
