The Founders Day Fun Run takes place on July 25, 2026, at Buddy Campbell City Park in Lava Hot Springs, ID 83246. The event program includes the following distances and events:

Course, logistics and beneficiary
The 5k is an out-and-back course that starts at Buddy Campbell City Park and follows Maughan Road for about 1.5 miles before returning to the park. The route includes gentle rolling hills and curves. The turnaround point is at the intersection of Maughan Road and Merrick Road and will be marked with a sign and flags. The Pickle Ball Charity Challenge will be played on six courts at Buddy Campbell Park; in case of inclement weather the games will be moved to a local indoor facility. Check-in and same-day registration are available at the event. All proceeds go to the Greater Lava Hot Springs Prosperity Foundation to support projects that enhance arts, foster culture, cultivate community, and help fund music scholarship programs for youth in the Greater Lava Hot Springs region.
