3rd Annual Fostering 5K
The event takes place in Jacksonville, Texas at the East Side Elementary parking lot, 711 Fort Worth Street, 75766. It includes multiple participant options and race day services. Packet pickup time, date, and location are to be determined. On race day there will be race day packet pickup and check-in, an opening ceremony, a Kids Dash, and the 5K; the schedule is subject to change at the discretion of the race director.

- 5K Run/Walk - 3.1 Miles
- Kids Dash - 0.2 Miles
- "Sleep In" (donation only) - 3.1 Miles
Registration details vary by event. Registration for the 5K opens July 7, 2026 and closes October 7, 2026 with a fee of $25.00. Kids Dash registration opens July 7, 2026 and closes November 7, 2026 with no registration fee. The "Sleep In" donation entry opens July 7, 2026 and closes November 7, 2026; this donation option lists a $25.00 fee and does not enter the participant into the race. Donation entries receive an event t-shirt that must be collected at a packet pickup option; shirts will not be mailed or held. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
