The Foster 5K + Family Day is scheduled for Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Kiwanis Park in Tempe, Arizona (101 West Baseline Road listed). The event raises funds for foster children and families in Arizona and lists the Arizona KIDS Consortium as a beneficiary; the consortium is a 501(c)(3) organization made up of 20 licensing agencies. The event is managed by StartLine Racing.

Registration, awards and race logistics
Registration uses tiered fees: 5K fees are shown around $30–$40 (plus processing), the 1 Mile around $25–$35, and the Virtual Run listed at $30 (processing fees apply). All participants receive a custom finisher medal and a custom dri-fit tech t-shirt, with an option to decline the shirt for a $5 discount. The event is chip timed with real-time results and race photos available online or via the event mobile app. Age-group awards are given to the top three in each category, with age groups from "8 & Under" up through "80 & Over." Packet pick-up is available the day before at Road Runner Sports in Tempe and on race day at Kiwanis Park. The event allows wheelchairs, strollers, wagons, and leashed pets; roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices are not permitted on the course.
