About the race
The Community Unity 5K is the 2nd Annual Phoenix Pride Community Unity 5K held on November 15, 2026 at Charlie's Phoenix, 727 W Camelback Road, Phoenix, AZ. The event is an all-ages walk and run that aims to increase visibility, advocacy, and support for the LGBTQ+ and allied communities.
In celebration of Phoenix Pride’s 45th anniversary, organizers set a fundraising goal of 450 participants each raising $100 for a target of $45,000 to support Phoenix Pride and Arizona’s LGBTQ+ community. Fundraising activity listed for the event includes the Phoenix Pride Community Foundation and the event has raised $1,120.80 to date.

All participants receive a custom finisher's medal and a custom dri-fit tech t-shirt with an option to decline the shirt for a $5 reduction. Age group awards are given to the top three in each age group and additional awards include Top Overall Finisher, Largest Team, Top Individual Fundraiser, Top Team Fundraiser, and Best Dressed Team. The event offers pre- and post-race refreshments, chip timing with real time results and event photos, and a course map available online.
Packet pick-up is available the day before at Phoenix Pride, with additional packet pick-up on race day at Charlie's Phoenix. Mail-in registration is accepted through November 11 and virtual entries are restricted to US addresses. Wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are welcome; roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices are not allowed.
