Fort Steilacoom Resolution Series
The Fort Steilacoom Resolution Series is a winter race series held at Fort Steilacoom Park in Lakewood, Washington, on January 9, February 6, and March 6, 2027. Events are offered across multiple distances and can be entered individually or as a bundled series.
Distances offered:
- 5K
- 10K
- 15K
- 20K
All events use a flat 5K loop within the park. The loop is about 95% paved and 5% packed trail. Aid stations with water, electrolytes and restrooms are available at the end of each 5K loop. Mile markers are posted on the loop; longer distances repeat the same loop.
Registration options include pre-registration through the Wednesday before each event and day-of registration at the venue. Standard pre-registration fees are $30 for the 5K and $35 for other distances. Reduced pre-registration fees for participants 19 and under are $10 for the 5K and $15 for other distances. Day-of fees are higher and there are separate youth day-of rates. Series bundle options include a 5K series, a 10K series and a Progression series; bundling three events can provide a discount off individual entry prices. Event insurance is available at checkout through a third party for eligible refunds.
Race results are chip-timed and available at a results kiosk and online. Photos are taken and posted for free download. Plenty of on-site parking and packet pickup are provided. Dogs and other leashed animals are not allowed on the course; strollers are allowed. Finishers who complete two or more events receive a custom medal, and age group ribbons and overall awards are given for each distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
