Fort Ligonier Days 5k Run/Walk
Fort Ligonier Days 5k Run/Walk is a community road event held on Sunday, October 11 at Ligonier Valley High School, 40 Springer Road, Ligonier, PA (coordinates 40.2535657665084, -79.24381712876591). Online registration remains open through race day morning, with a discounted registration rate available and a t-shirt guaranteed for those who register before September 15. Check-in and packet pick-up take place at the main entrance of Ligonier Valley High School on race morning; participants should allow time for parking, check-in, and warm-up.
Free on-site parking is provided at the high school, with signs and parking attendants to guide vehicles. One aid station is located midway on the course and will be stocked with water and/or Gatorade. Porta-potty toilets will be available at the registration area and in parking areas.
Timing for the race is provided by Gingerbread Man Timing Services. The use of earphones is permitted, but loud audible music from portable speakers is not allowed on the course. Post-race food is included for participants and volunteers, and an awards ceremony will be held following the event.
