Fort Ligonier Days 5K Run and Walk
The Fort Ligonier Days event includes a community 5k road run and walk held on Sunday, October 11, 2026, in Ligonier, Pennsylvania. The course starts and finishes at Ligonier Valley High School, 40 Springer Road, and will be marked the morning of the event. Volunteers will monitor the course for participant safety.
Online registration remains open through race day morning; registration completed before September 15 guarantees a race t-shirt. Free event parking is available on site at Ligonier Valley High School, with signs and parking attendants directing vehicles. Check-in and packet pick-up occur at the high school main entrance on race day.
There will be one aid station positioned midway on the course stocked with water and/or Gatorade. Porta-potty restrooms will be located in the registration area and in parking areas. Race timing is provided by Gingerbread Man Timing Services.
Runners may walk portions of the course and resume running as able. Walkers must maintain one foot in contact with the ground at all times; this rule relies on an honor system and there will be no observers on course. Use of earphones is permitted; loud audible music from portable speakers is not allowed. Post-race food will be provided for participants and volunteers, and an awards ceremony will follow the event.
