Fort Garry Rotary Half Marathon and 5K Fun Run
The Fort Garry Rotary Half Marathon and 5K Fun Run takes place in Winnipeg on September 27, 2026, with start and finish at St. Vital Park. The event raises funds for local community causes and supports addiction recovery and youth services.

The half marathon is a certified out and back route with mile markers and kilometer markers at 5, 10, and 15 km. The course route runs from St. Vital Park near the Duck Pond along Perimeter Road, River Road, the Red River bike path, D'Arcy Drive, Thatcher Drive, University Crescent, Sifton Road, Kings Drive, Kilkenny Drive to the Perimeter Highway, then west along Cloutier Drive to the turnaround point before returning to the park. Racecourse marshals and volunteers wear yellow T shirts.
The 5K is a family friendly two lap course around St. Vital Park Perimeter Road. Water stations are placed approximately every 2 to 3 kilometres on the half marathon course. A bag drop area is provided near the start line. Half marathon participants receive a medal; 5K medals are awarded to the top three men and top three women.
Race kits include a drawstring bag, event T shirt, race bib, and chip timer. Registration closes on September 23, 2026 or when distances sell out. Fee levels are listed for early and standard registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
