Forest of Dean Duathlons & Wild Trail Runs 2027
Forest of Dean Duathlons & Wild Trail Runs 2027 takes place on 28 February 2027 at Speech House, Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. The event features off road duathlons and trail runs over set distances.
Distances
- Standard Duathlon: Run 10 km, Cycle 44 km, Run 5 km
- Sprint Duathlon: Run 5 km, Cycle 23 km, Run 2.5 km
- 10 km Trail Run (Canicross friendly)
- 5 km Trail Run (Canicross friendly)
All running routes are fully off road, using well maintained forest trails, gentle undulations, and wide woodland paths. Cycling routes make use of gravel fire roads and flowing woodland tracks, with occasional technical sections and a mix of climbs and long descents. Routes are suitable for gravel, hybrid, or mountain bikes.
The duathlon transition area is secure for competitors only; race number and bike number must match the racking spot. A small bag or box is permitted inside transition. Bike numbers must be attached and helmets visible before entry; numbers will be checked before leaving transition.
Live chip timing is provided and results will be published online shortly after the event. All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer branded merchandise, and a drink and snack. Parking is on the Speech House event field. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
