Forest of Dean Duathlons & Wild Trail Runs 2027
Forest of Dean Duathlons & Wild Trail Runs takes place at Speech House in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, on 28 February 2027. The event includes off road duathlons and trail runs set on the forest’s well maintained trails, fire roads, and wide woodland paths within an ancient woodland landscape.
Distances offered:
- Standard Duathlon: Run 10km, Cycle 44km, Run 5km
- Sprint Duathlon: Run 5km, Cycle 23km, Run 2.5km
- 5km Trail Run
- 10km Trail Run
All running routes are fully off road with gentle undulations and wide tracks. Cycling routes use gravel fire roads and flowing woodland tracks, include occasional technical sections, and feature a mix of climbs and longer descents. The course is suitable for gravel, hybrid, or mountain bikes.
Duathlon transition area is secure and for competitors only. Race and bike numbers must match racking positions; a small bag or box is permitted inside transition. Bike numbers must be attached and helmets visible before entry, and numbers will be checked before leaving transition.
Live chip timing is provided and results will be published online after the event. Parking is available at Speech House on the event field. Finishers receive an event medal, branded merchandise, and a drink and snack. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
