"For Your Health" 5K Run/Walk

“For Your Health” 5k Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Walk
This community running and walking event is organized by Licking Memorial Health Systems and takes place at The Dawes Arboretum in Newark, Ohio. The event offers three distance options:
- 5K Timed
- 5K Untimed
- 1-Mile Fun Walk
Registration fees for the timed 5K are listed as $15 through August 21 and $20 through race day. The untimed 5K and the 1 Mile Fun Walk are listed as free. A 2026 event T-shirt and a course map are noted as available for the event.
Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled for August 28, 2026 at the LMH First Floor Conference Room, 1320 W Main St, Newark, OH 43055, from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Race day registration and packet pickup are also provided. Awards will be presented to the top three males and females overall and to the top three males and females in each age division; age divisions listed include 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 60-69, and 70+. All finishers will receive a participation medal.
