For Your Health 5K Run/Walk & 1-mile Fun Walk
This community running and walking event takes place on August 29, 2026, at The Dawes Arboretum in Newark, Ohio. The event is organized by Licking Memorial Health Systems with the objective of encouraging a healthy lifestyle in the community. All participants receive a goody bag and a t-shirt.
Distances offered:
- 5K timed option and registration fee applies.
- 5K untimed option, no fee for untimed entry.
- 1 mile fun walk, no fee for the fun walk.
Registration opens April 1, 2026. The timed 5K has a registration deadline of August 21, 2026; the untimed 5K and the 1-mile fun walk have registration windows that extend to the morning of the event. Fees listed for the timed 5K include a registration amount of $15.00; the untimed 5K and 1-mile fun walk are listed with no registration fee.
Pre-race packet pick-up is scheduled for August 28, 2026 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at the LMH First Floor Conference Room, 1320 W Main St, Newark, OH 43055.
